Dad (Laurie O’Keane) recently discovered this grave in the Old Ballarat Cemetery through the Star Newspaper which was the old newspaper of Ballarat. The following photos were taken while visiting with Dad over the 2022 Easter weekend when we visted the gravesite.
According to the Old Cemetery records the following people are buried here:
- Daniel O’Keane aged 70 buried 06/07/1906 (Dad’s Great Grandfather)
- Margaret O”Keane aged 74 buried 02/05/1914 (Dad’s Great Grandmother)
- Bridget O’Keane aged 40 buried 01/04/1916
- Margaret O”Keane aged 70 buried 28/02/1929
- Elizabeth O’Keane agend 75 buried 07/12/1936
The only additional information provided on the cemetery records is that Daniel was a Miner.
